Jerez de la Frontera

The city of Jerez de la Frontera is one of the best-established tourist destinations in Andalucía. A rejuvenated historic city which leaves nobody indifferent.

Few places in Spain enjoy such international recognition as Jerez. Thanks to its wine, Jerez or Sherry, the name of our city has crossed frontiers for centuries and has now become universal.

But there is much more to Jerez than wine: it is the home of the Carthusian horses, bullfighting, the cradle of the art of Flamenco, city of motor racing and it is full of historic monuments.

Horses, wine and Flamenco are three unique and different attractions which share the same sentiments and leave their mark in every corner of the city, and they are among the many attractions which give Jerez its international fame. Jerez offers the traveller a huge choice of activities: sun and beaches, nature, historic and artistic monuments, sports, fiestas and an infinite variety of exquisite gastronomy
